Hendrik de Groot is an Advisor with our Law Firm since August 2007. He was an associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam until September 2004. He also serves as an Advisor at several other Law Firms, Notary Offices and Tax Advisors Offices in the Netherlands. He is a frequent Lecturer at Courses for Notaries and Attorneys and has lectured on a regular basis outside of the Netherlands (in Suriname, the United States of America and in Czechoslovakia and recently also in Ethiopia). In the 1990s, he assisted Russian Government Officials with the Drafting of a new Corporate Legislation together with some Colleagues. He was a Member of the Central Works Council (Centrale Ondernemingsraad) of the University of Amsterdam for many years. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of a medium large Housing Cooperative.
